Be amazed at incredible maze of Pindaya Caves
The short trip will take you to explore less-visited beauty of Shan state including Pindaya with a massive limestone cave filled with 8000 thousands of gilded Buddha statues and Kalaw hill which offers authentic trekking opportunity through lush plantations in between hill-tribes and mountain villages.
Start your trip with a first stop at the Pindaya Caves. Inside the maze-like cavern, there are more than 8000 Buddha images made from alabaster, teak, marble, brick, lacquer, and cement. Prepare to savor the taste of tea leaf salad here in a nearby village, as you learn about the growing of tea and soy-based products in the green tea mecca of Pindaya before leaving for Kalaw (a winding hilly road to the Shan hills to Kalaw, a fresh and delightful hill station, on the rim of the Shan plateau).
