Start a day like a local

Wake up early to get an insight into the daily routine of the locals in a UNESCO World Heritage-listed Luang Prabang city and join the ancient Buddhist ceremony named Tak Bat.

Your day will start at 4:45 am with a transfer by tuk-tuk to the boat pier. You will cruise across the Mekong River before the sunrise to reach Ban Xieng Mene. Here, get a chance to experience one of Laos’s most sacred morning rituals – practice the alms giving ceremony and receive blessings from the chanting monks. Afterward, continue your early morning with a stroll through lush green gardens to Wat Long Khoun, where challenges your endurance with 123 steps climbing up to Wat Chomphet. Once conquering the top, you will be rewarded with a spectacular 360-degree view of Mount Phousi.

Visit the Morning Market along the river by boat then join the locals for a delicious breakfast before heading back to your hotel.
